Fredrik performed at the Hanoi opera house in november-09 together with Johan Hedin, Esbjörn Hazelius and four musicians from Vietnam. The performance was part of a festival for
vietnamese minority-music.

In 2009 Fredrik started the project "Trumma Världen Runt" together with storyteller
Mikael Öberg and percussionist Olle Linder. This is a performance for children - stories
about drums from the whole world accompanied by percussion. The first tour was played
in september -09 in schools around Sweden.

Fredrik is doing summer-tour -09 with Swiss artist Mich Gerber.

Fredrik worked with the Swiss-based dance-company Flamencos en Route during spring-09.
The premiere was on the 22 may in the old monastery in Minster Königsfelden, Windisch.

dance-company öff-öff. Performances will be in December -08 in Dampfzentrale in Bern, and
August -09 in Zurich.

In January-08 "The Cairo Project" is on tour in Sweden, Austria and Switzerland.
Under the tour a cd will be recorded, date for release is not yet fixed. The Cairo
Project is Ahmad el Sawy - oud/vocal, Mohamed Sami - violin,
Mohamed Sawwah - trumpet/voice, Asita Hamidi - harp/voice,
Björn Meyer - basses, Fredrik Gille - percussion.

is finished, this would be Bazar Blå's 5th album. But someone broke in to the
studio and stole both the computer and the backups..so all that is left of the
album is a cd with ruff mixes, Bazar Blå is thinking if it is possible to release

In August-September-05 Fredrik was in Egypt for a 6 weeks long collaboration with the trio Bazaaris, egyptian oud-player Ahmad el-Sawy, trumpet-player Sawah Mohamad and violin-player Sami Mohamad. Concerts were held at the Cairo Opera House, El Genaina Theatre in Azhar Park and at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria. The concerts were recorded and a live-cd is planned.

The new cd with Bazar Blå was released in September-04. This fourth album with the group was nominated at the Swedish grammy award, and won the Danish Music Awards – Folk’s price for the best foreign album of the year.

In May-04 the trio Bazar Blå went for one week to Iran where they made some concerts in Teheran and colaborated with persian musicians. The concerts were held in open air in front of the Niavaran Palace, which was the residence of the last Shah.
